Description

NAD+

Compound: Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD⁺)
Form: Sterile aqueous solution
Concentration: 100mg/ml
Vial Volume: 10ml (1,000 mg total)

NAD+
It’s a coenzyme found in all living cells and plays a crucial role in energy production, metabolism, and cellular repair.

What does NAD+ do?

  1. Energy Production (ATP)

    • NAD+ helps convert food (like glucose and fatty acids) into energy by participating in cellular respiration (especially in the mitochondria).

    • It acts as an electron carrier, switching between NAD⁺ (oxidized) and NADH (reduced) to help make ATP, the energy currency of the cell.

  2. DNA Repair

    • NAD+ activates enzymes called sirtuins and PARPs, which are involved in repairing DNA and maintaining genomic stability.

  3. Aging and Longevity

    • NAD+ levels decline with age.

    • This decline is linked to aging, neurodegeneration, metabolic diseases, and reduced cellular repair.

  4. Sirtuin Activation

    • Sirtuins are proteins that regulate inflammation, metabolism, and lifespan. They need NAD+ to function.

    • NAD+ is essential for life, helping cells generate energy and maintain their health. It’s a key player in aging and metabolism — and a hot topic in longevity science.

Dosing Protocol (IM Use)

  • Standard Dose: 100 mg (1 ml) IM

  • Frequency: 1× per week

  • Duration: 10 weeks (1 vial = 10 doses)

    Injection Sites:

  • Gluteus (upper outer quadrant) – preferred for larger volumes

  • Deltoid – max 1 mL, alternate weekly

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

NAD+ injections are generally well-tolerated, but some individuals may experience mild side effects. Common side effects include:

  • Flushing

  • Fatigue

  • Headaches

  • Mild Nausea

  • Dizziness

  • Pain where you inject

These side effects are usually temporary and should disappear shortly after the injection. If you experience severe or persistent side effects, seek medical attention as soon as possible.

Recommended IM dosing

  • Standard dose: 100 mg (1 ml) IM, 1× per week (conservative)
  • Alternate: 150mg (1.5 ml) weekly or 100mg twice weekly (intensive)
  • 1 vial provides 10 doses at 100mg each

Injection sites

  • Sites: Gluteus (upper outer quadrant) — preferred for larger volumes;
  • Deltoid — max ~1 mL

Aftercare & monitoring

  • Observe for 15–30 minutes after first injections for adverse effects.
  • Expect mild soreness or local redness; report systemic symptoms immediately (severe nausea, chest tightness, breathing difficulty).
  • Rotate sites weekly to reduce local irritation.

Storage & vial handling

  • Store refrigerated at 2–8 °C, protect from light.
  • Wipe stopper with alcohol before each puncture.
  • Use within 30 days of first puncture.

Safety & precautions

This information is for reference only and is not medical advice. IM injections should be performed by trained personnel or under supervision. Consult your healthcare provider before use.

Sample weekly rotation: Week 1 left glute, Week 2 right glute, Week 3 left deltoid, Week 4 right deltoid — continue rotating.
