(Stanozolol)

Winstrol normally known as “Winny” is an anabolic steroid with a moderate, androgenic effect and has the added benefit of not being able to covert to estrogen.  Nolvadex or other anti-estrogens are not necessary unless other aromatising steroids are being stacked alongside.

Other steroids, which athletes successfully stack with Winstrol during the preparation for a competition, include Masteron (Drostanolone), Equipoise (Boldenone), Oxandrolone (Anavar), Testosterone propionate, Rimobolan, and HGH.   Together with a calorie-reduced diet, which is rich in protein, Winstrol will produce solid raw muscle growth and an overall harder appearance.  Strength and muscle gains are also kept well after discontinuation of the cycle.

Another point about Winstrol is its supposed anti-progesterone effects.  Winstrol is said to bind and compete for a position at the progesterone receptor in much the same way that Clomid or Nolvadex does at the estrogen receptor. This is said to cause Winstrol to inhibit progesterone effects.  Progesterone does play a role in the development of gyno since it can aggravate estrogenic side effects by agonising estrogen and it also plays a role in the formation of gynocomastia.  Winstrol is excellent for stacking with (amongst others) Deca giving good solid gains with low side effects.

Winstrol is usually not used as the only steroid during dieting since, based on its low androgenic component, it does not reliably protect the athlete from losing muscle tissue. The missing, pronounced androgenic effect is often balanced by a combined intake of Trenbolone at 50-75mg every 1 to 2 days while also taking 50mg Winstrol daily.

Although there is no scientific proof of a special combined action between Winstrol and Trenbolone, based on several practical examples, a synergetic effect seems likely.

Side effects are rare with Winstrol and usually show with high dosage or prolonged use.

Usual dosage of Winstrol for men is 30-50mg per day.

For women it is much lower at 5-20mg max per day because of the risks of virilization side effects.
