PROVIRON

(Mesterolone)

Proviron is generally used to treat various types of sexual dysfunction, which often result from a low endogenous testosterone level. It can usually reverse problems of sexual disinterest and impotency, and is sometimes used to increase the sperm count.

The drug does not stimulate the body to produce testosterone, but is simply an oral androgen substitute that is used to compensate for a lack of the natural male androgen. It acts as an anti-aromatise which slows down the conversion of estrogen by binding to the aromatise enzyme (which it does very well). This can potentate the strength of other steroids in the system as they are blocked from binding to this enzyme where they will be wasted and thus left in a free state to go about their job elsewhere.

Proviron cannot convert to estrogen so it can be stacked with Nandrolones (Deca etc.) to give the benefit of a strong androgen without estrogen problems. A great combination of Nolvadex and Proviron together can be a good defence against estrogen and lead to a hard solid vascular look to newly acquired muscle.

Many bodybuilders favor Proviron during contest preparations, when a lower estrogen/high androgen level is particularly sought after. This is especially beneficial when anabolics like Winstrol, Oxandrolone and Primobolan are being used alone, as the androgenic content of these drugs is relatively low.

Proviron can supplement a well-needed androgen, and bring about an increase in the hardness and density of the muscles.

Dosage of Proviron is usually between 25 – 100mg (1 to 4 tabs) daily.
In some cases one 25 mg tablet per day is sufficient.

When combining 50mg Proviron with 20mg Nolvadex this will lead to an almost complete suppression of estrogen. Although Proviron isn’t a growth steroid it plays a very useful role in the world of bodybuilding and allows users to obtain greater gains overall.
